On Wednesday, he tipped in the ball with about a second to play off a missed jumper by Otis Livingston II to help the Patriots escape the Siegel Center with their third consecutive win and fifth in their past six games.
Boyd hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to help the Patriots (15-15, 9-8) beat Saint Joseph's 79-76 on Feb. 21. Last Saturday, he had a lay-in in the last second to help the team beat Massachusetts in overtime.
