Carson Wentz welcomes Michael Bennett to Eagles
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was quick to praise his new teammate Michael Bennett. On Wednesday, the Seahawks traded the defensive end and a seventh-round pick to Philly for Marcus Johnson and a fifth-round pick, per Paste BN Sports.
Wentz said he's excited to have Bennett, and he said he's glad he doesn't have to play against their defensive line because they're going to be nasty. He also wished Johnson well.
Bennett seems just as excited as Wentz is.
Bennett's other new teammates are also pumped.
They'll be chasing a second consecutive championship.
