Dale Jr. ignites NASCAR discussion about 'The Notebook'
NASCAR Twitter is known to get on ridiculous tangents from time to time, but the one stemming from a conversation Dale Earnhardt Jr. started Thursday has to be among the best.
All the newly retired NASCAR driver wanted to talk about was Twitter not having an edit button. But he accidentally ignited a discussion about The Notebook - the guaranteed tear-jerker with Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling from 2004, based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks.
NASCAR team Roush Fenway Racing offered the best analysis of the movie, very accurately describing McAdams and Gosling's chemistry as "unreal".
All this is just wonderful and hilariously unexpected.
