MAC coaches share emotional phone call after advancing in NCAA tournament

Two Cinderella teams - 11-seed Central Michigan and 11-seed Buffalo - punched their tickets to the Sweet 16 with upsets of 3-seeds Florida State and Ohio State on Monday night.

Not only are they both 11-seeds, but they're both in the MAC and are quite familiar with each other. So after both teams secured a spot, Buffalo coach Felisha Legette-Jack and CMU coach Sue Guevara exchanged a phone call congratulating each other on advancing.

Buffalo will face defending champion South Carolina on Saturday and Central Michigan faces two-seed Oregon.
