Michigan’s Mo Wagner apologizes after nearly crushing TBS crew
Michigan's 6-foot-11 big man Moritz Wagner led the Wolverines to a 69-57 Final Four victory over Loyola-Chicago with a double-double of a team-high 24 points and 15 rebounds. He played hard, but late in the game his hustle sent him flying toward the TBS crew.
While trying to save the ball, Wagner fell out of bounds, and because the court is raised, he wound up running over the table right where the broadcasters were sitting. Fortunately, no one was injured and they all laughed about it afterwards.
Well, no one was injured, but Bill Raftery's glasses were destroyed.
Wagner apologized in his on-court interview. As the crew chuckled, the Michigan star said, "I'm sorry, coach. I apologize. I hope that's the only thing I broke, though."
He also walked over to them to say sorry.
Raftery joked about not being able to see anything without his glasses. He did a great job of smiling through it.
Another hilarious part of this was Hill's face.
You probably would've reacted the same way if an enormous, almost 7-foot player charged at you.
Michigan will now advance to the championship on Monday.
