Ben Simmons fires back at Donovan Mitchell's sweatshirt
The NBA world had a good chuckle over Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell's sweatshirt, which echoed Richard Jefferson's argument that Ben Simmons shouldn't be Rookie of the Year because he's not a true rookie. But the 76ers Rookie of the Year candidate, who earlier this week declared that everyone who knows anything about basketball would give him the award, wasn't impressed.
"If his argument is I'm not a rookie, and that's the only argument he has, I'm pretty in good shape. There's a rule in the NBA for a reason. I'm not going to wear a sweatshirt tomorrow though."
This is your weekly reminder that the NBA is the best and pettiest league in sports.
