DWTS' athletes-only season features Tonya Harding, Adam Rippon, Josh Norman
The upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars is the one sports fans everywhere have been waiting for.
While plenty of athletes have previously competed on the show, the upcoming season - which starts Monday, April 30 (7 p.m. ET, ABC) - features an athletes-only cast, and it looks amazing.
The cast of the upcoming season was revealed in the most DWTS way Friday on Good Morning America, and the athletes competing are figure skaters Tonya Harding, Adam Rippon and Mirai Nagasu; NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Redskins cornerback Josh Norman, World Series champ Johnny Damon, Notre Dame's NCAA basketball champion (and most clutch player ever) Arike Ogunbowale, Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson, Olympic softball player Jennie Finch Daigle and Olympic luger Chris Mazdzer.
While these athletes have yet to hit the dance floor, our early prediction for who has the best chance of making it to the finals is Rippon, Nagasu, Norman or Ogunbowale. While certainly not always the case, it seems safe to bet on the people whose sport relies on strong footwork.
Here's a look at who each athlete is paired with for the season.
Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Lindsay Arnold
Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson
Mirai Nagasu and Alan Bersten
Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess
Johnny Damon and Emma Slater
