David West gets T'd while riding stationary bike

Warriors forward David West picked up an all-time bizarre technical foul during Sunday's Game 4 against the Spurs.

When the arena announced that West was hit with a technical foul in the third quarter, the ESPN broadcast was understandably confused. West was neither on the bench nor on the court.

Instead, he was on the stationary bike in the tunnel.

As Steve Kerr tried to argue the case for West - I mean, how could Tony Brothers hear West from the tunnel? - West was shown riding the bike.

He appropriately waved off the technical.

It got to the point that Steph Curry, who is inactive for the series, argued the technical with Brothers. Curry appeared to claim that a fan shouted at the ref, not West.

Either way, it made for an incredibly odd officiating decision.
