Smith casually drains ridiculous buzzer-beater
If there's one way to silence a crowd in a road playoff game, a buzzer-beater from 70-plus feet will certainly do the trick.
At the end of the first quarter of Sunday's Game 4 between the Cavs and Pacers, J.R. Smith unleashed a 3-point attempt off one leg and from the opposite 3-point line.
The result: bucket.
Just on distance alone, the shot was ridiculous. But be sure to watch how Smith attempted the shot. He was fading to his left and managed to get square to the basket.
The TNT broadcast would later point out that Smith was practicing trick shots before the game.
Now we know why.
