Harlan inadvertently gave Derrick Rose a new name
Derrick Rose - yes, that Derrick Rose! - had a breakout performance in the first half of Monday's Game 4 against the Rockets.
The former MVP scored 11 early points and made plays that had NBA fans reminded of the D-Rose that starred with the Bulls.
Or … were we watching "Reggie" Rose?
As Rose went coast-to-coast to finish with a nifty left-handed layup, TNT announcer Kevin Harlan addressed his commentating partner, Reggie Miller, but it sure sounded like he was calling the Wolves guard "Reggie Rose." It kept happening.
After the third time Harlan said, "Reggie (Miller), Rose," NBA fans determined that this was Derrick Rose's new name. It quickly became a trending topic on Twitter. Plus, Derrick's brother is named Reggie. It was all so confusing.
That name is going to stick. D-Rose should just accept it.
