Dexter Fowler's wife moved C-section date because of Anthony Rizzo
The Cardinals' Dexter Fowler and his wife Aliya are expecting another daughter, and according to Aliya, her husband's good friend Anthony Rizzo is partly responsible for moving the scheduled due date.
Aliya shared the funny anecdote on her Instagram Story that was then posted on Facebook by Fly The W .
She said she was just leaving her appointment in which she was trying to set a date for her C-section. When she thought she had it set, she texted her husband. Aliya noted that she only asked Dexter if it was OK "to be nice." She wasn't expecting him to ask her to change it.
He did, though.
"He said, 'That's not gonna work for me because we play Chicago and I gotta go see Rizzo,'" Aliya said. At the end of her story, she added, "I moved my due date for you, Anthony Rizzo."
The two former teammates are great friends and Dexter even once signed Anthony's nephew.
