Alexis Ohanian tells story of meeting Serena Williams

When Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian first met at a cafe where they both had settled in for breakfast, they both agree that Williams and her assistant tried their best to get Ohanian to sit … anywhere else. Their strategy was simple: They told him that they had spotted a rat nearby.

But, as Ohanian explained to Stephen Colbert this week, it would take a lot more than a rat sighting to stop him from eating somewhere. After all, he said, he's from Brooklyn. And Brooklyn, as anyone who has lived there knows, is a place where rats have been known to carry full slices of pizza out of subway stations.
