Ben Simmons gives 76ers fan jersey after loss
The 76ers had just lost in a gutsy Game 5 to end their playoff run against the Celtics when Ben Simmons spotted one of the lone Philadelphia fans in the Boston crowd.
And, as he walked out of the arena, gave him his jersey - and helped squash his disappointment about his team's exit.
Moments after the game ended, forward Ben Simmons gave Beau Freeman the jersey off his back.
"It means a lot. It's crazy how you can get a jersey. I can't believe that happened," Freeman said.
Freeman, who is from New Hampshire, is still trusting the process and says wait until next year.
