See highlights of 2018 NBA MVP finalists
The NBA announced the Rockets' James Harden, the Cavaliers' LeBron James and the Pelicans' Anthony Davis as the three finalists for the 2018 MVP award before Game 2 of the Western Conference finals on Wednesday.
The winner, who has already been chosen based on their regular-season performance by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters, will be announced at the awards show that'll air on Monday, June 25, starting at 9 p.m. ET on TNT.
Here are highlights from Harden, James and Davis' regular seasons (in no particular order):
James Harden
Harden averaged 30.4 points, 8.8 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game. The Rockets finished with the best record, 65-17.
LeBron James
James averaged 27.5 points, 9.1 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game. The Cavaliers finished No. 4 in the East with a record of 50-32.
Anthony Davis
Davis averaged 28.1 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. The Pelicans finished No. 6 in the West with a record of 48-34. Davis is also a finalist for the 2018 Defensive Player of the Year award.
