IndyCar driver pulls off epic prank on teammate

IndyCar Series drivers are known to prank each other from time to time, and sometimes, they get really creative with their tricks.

Well, this season defending champion Josef Newgarden and Simon Pagenaud have been dueling in an autograph battle to creatively leave their mark on as many things as possible. They're IndyCar teammates, so this is all in good fun. But Pagenaud took it to the another level - with the help of Speedway PD in near Indianapolis Motor Speedway - by following Newgarden from the passenger seat of a patrol car.

They waited for Newgarden to do something illegal on the road while on his way to an event during practice week for the Indy 500 - which is on Sunday, May 27 - and pulled him over in a prank of epic proportions after he made a U-turn.

"We're getting pulled over, and I pulled over into a strip club."

The cop got Newgarden for the U-turn and for having expired plates - but, of course, he wasn't driving his own car - and when he handed the professional driver a ticket, it had Pagenaud's autograph on it.

Even Newgarden had to admit: "That's super impressive."

These two have put their signature all over, including on a giant sign of Newgarden's face outside Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Here's a look at what else this ridiculous autograph battle has produced.

Pagenaud also signed Newgarden's mom's arm at one point.
