Zlatan gets red card after slapping a player

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is easily the LA Galaxy's most dynamic talent. He can change a game at the MLS level - sometimes for worse. On Monday, Galaxy fans got the other side of the Zlatan experience.

During Los Angeles' match against the Montreal Impact, Zlatan was shown a red card for slapping Montreal's Michael Petrasso on the head. The match was paused as VAR (video assistant referee) confirmed the violent slap to the side of Petrasso's head.

To make matters even more embarrassing for Zlatan, he went down to sell an injury after Petrasso made minimal contact with his foot. The step on the foot seemed to have been what sparked Zlatan's harsh reaction, but it was clearly unintentional from Petrasso.

With the red card, Zlatan was ejected for the first time since joining the Galaxy.
