Is Chris Paul really going to be 'all right'?

Chris Paul made his first conference finals in what has been a Hall of Fame career and has the Houston Rockets on the brink of a trip to the Finals.

But the injury gods were not kind on Thursday night:

Oh no. Here was the postgame update:

As Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said, Paul is "worried." But then there's this glimmer of hope:

That seems optimistic. That also seems like Paul could pull a Willis Reed and limp his way into a playoff game, although it remains to be seen how effective he'll be (this is where I remind you that Reed only scored four points in Game 7 against the Lakers in the 1970 NBA Finals).

This is cruel for the 33-year-old. The legendary point guard has been a joy to watch over the past 13 years, and to see a shot at closing out the dynasty Warriors and a potential NBA title potentially taken away now is just the worst.

Maybe his "oh yeah" is Paul's way of saying there's nothing that will stand in his way. Let's hope it's not just talk.
