The U.K.'s cheese rolling contest is carnage
Every year in Gloucester, England, a group of ridiculously brave thrill-seekers gather to chase a wheel of cheese down Cooper's Hill. It's a spectacularly brutal event that leaves most competitors with sore bodies and bruises, at the very least.
Over the weekend, 30-year-old Chris Anderson became the most successful racer in the history of the event, winning his 21st race over the last 14 years.
Via the Independent:
"Over the years the worst injuries Mr Anderson has suffered were a broken ankle in 2005 and bruised kidneys in 2010."
