Best Capitals fans from Stanley Cup parade
Celebrating their first Stanley Cup, the Washington Capitals took their days-long party to the streets of D.C. for their championship parade Tuesday, and thousands on thousands of fans followed them.
Unlike other teams who might celebrate a championship somewhat privately, the Caps have spent the last several days partying with and around their loyal fans. And those who finally watched Alex Ovechkin and their team hoist the Stanley Cup flooded the National Mall during the parade - just like they did after Washington beat the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 5 last week.
And here are some of the best fan moments from the Capitals' parade.
