Watch Kimmel, Ted Cruz play terrible basketball
Maybe Senator Ted Cruz really should have gotten his doppelganger Grayson Allen to play in "The Blobfish Basketball Classic."
After Kimmel roasted Cruz on his late-night show, the pair got together to play one-on-one, with the loser giving money to the winner's charity.
The game was so exhausting for the competitors that they shortened it from a game to 15 to 11. And you'll see some political-themed trash talk, commentary from Gus Johnson and Isiah Thomas, a few funny moments and lots of money raised for charity. What you won't see? Quality basketball, although Cruz can get to the hoop and Kimmel has a little touch from the outside.
