England fan throws beer in reporter's face
Newshub Europe correspondent Lloyd Burr was reporting from Boxpark Croydon - one of London's best World Cup watch sites - for Wednesday's semifinal match against Croatia when one fan completely lost his cool.
With Burr reporting live for his station's broadcast, an angry fan tossed a full beer into Burr's face. Burr, though, continued his report like a champ.
Burr's live shot took place late into extra time as England's hopes of Bringing Football Home were about to come to an end. The fan confronted Burr because he felt the reporter was only there to see England fans react to a loss, which obviously wasn't the case. Burr was there from the start of the match.
The hosts back in New Zealand eventually cut the live shot short and asked the crew to look after Burr.
Despite the incident, Burr enjoyed the experience at the watch party.
