Danica Patrick, Aaron Rodgers star in 'I, Tonya' parody at ESPYS
Danica Patrick hosted the 2018 ESPYS in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, and following her monologue - in which she took shots at LeBron James, JR Smith, Tiger Woods and herself - she was in a prerecorded parody of the movie I, Tonya .
Actress Allison Janney - who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the biopic about former figure skater Tonya Harding - introduced the skit titled Me, Danica, which intertwined fictional situations from Patrick's career as a race car driver with recreations of scenes from the movie.
Patrick, of course, embraced the parody role of Harding, while her real-life boyfriend and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers played Harding's husband, Jeff Gillooly. The sports power couple also made their red carpet debut at the show.
Veteran IndyCar driver Hélio Castroneves made an appearance in the parody skit, embodying the role Nancy Kerrigan, who was attacked weeks before the 1994 Winter Olympics.
While Patrick's monologue received mixed reviews from the internet, this skit was overly dramatic but actually hilarious.
