Cousins roasts Klay Thompson at press conference
Warriors big man DeMarcus Cousins met with reporters alongside general manager Bob Myers on Thursday. The All-Star center already had plenty of jokes for his new teammates.
Or maybe just Klay Thompson.
When asked about his relationship with the Warriors players, Cousins wanted to make a point that Thompson was his favorite Warrior. He summed up Klay perfectly with his reasoning.
Cousins said:
"Just to put this out there: My favorite, by far, is Klay. Our short time together in the summers is like … For him to be as dull as he is, there's never a dull moment."
The Klay jokes would continue when Myers discussed including Klay in Cousins' signing process.
Myers said:
"We were going through the whole process and we said, 'Should we talk to Klay?' And Steve (Kerr) said, 'He's fine. He doesn't care.' And it's true. We were all kind of laughing, 'We should probably talk to Klay about this.'"
Then Cousins jumped in:
"I still haven't talked to Klay."
Hey, just remember: Only boring people get bored.
