Jackie Bradley Jr. makes brilliant diving catch
Pitcher Nathan Eovaldi made his Red Sox debut on Sunday after being acquired from Tampa Bay, and it's safe to say that he can get used to having Jackie Bradley Jr. out in center field.
During Boston's game against the Twins, Bobby Wilson drove a line drive deep into the left-center field gap. Off the bat, it looked like a sure extra-base hit for the Twins catcher. But Bradley would have other ideas.
The Red Sox center fielder took an excellent jump off the bat and made the catch before tumbling into the Green Monster. Both Eovaldi and Wilson couldn't believe it.
The Fenway crowd gave Bradley a standing ovation, and Eovaldi joined in.
According to Statcast, Bradley covered 78 feet in 4.4 seconds to make that grab with a 42 percent catch probability.
