Zion Williamson made dunking from FT line look easy

Duke's Zion Williamson is a once-in-a-generation athlete. He may not have an NBA position, but the 285-pound freshman can basically fly.

He proved that during Duke's Tuesday practice in Canada and made dunking from the free-throw line look so easy.

Nothing about that, however, was easy. In fact, it was ridiculous.

What made that dunk even more impressive was that Williamson dunked from the free-throw line while maintaining his dribble. Typically, when we see that kind of dunk attempted, the dunker is running in a full sprint while carrying the ball without dribbling. (See: Serge Ibaka in 2011).

Williamson, though, maintained both his dribble and a regular running speed. He theoretically could throw down that dunk in a game if he found enough space, which would be absurd. That was a legal basketball play.

He is very good at dunking.
