Lakers owner rips LeBron haters in Los Angeles
When LeBron James announced that he was signing with the Lakers, most Lakers fans were pumped to see LeBron in purple and gold. Some were so excited that they painted murals of LeBron in various Los Angeles neighborhoods.
Those murals just ended up getting vandalized.
It's unclear whether the vandalism was done by Kobe Bryant loyalists or LeBron haters, but according to Lakers president and controlling owner Jeanie Buss, none of the vandals are true Lakers fans.
Buss appeared on the Rich Eisen Show Wednesday and offered her opinion on the anti-LeBron sentiments that exist among some in Los Angeles.
She said:
"They're not Laker fans if they're not happy about LeBron joining the team. There was some unrest and some uneasiness, and I just think those were troublemakers that they don't get it. I think Los Angeles is gonna be very proud of the way that LeBron will represent the Lakers team. And they're gonna fall in love with him too."
In the meantime, LeBron's Lakers teammates are already impressed.
