High school player breaks 8 tackles on TD run

Weequahic High School (N.J.) cruised to a 33-0 win against Morris Catholic this week in a game that featured an early candidate for the most ridiculous play of the high school football season.

With Weequahic seemingly lining up to punt on fourth down, Tyler Phillips took the bouncing snap and ran through the entire defense.

Phillips broke at least eight tackles and made his way through a scrum en route to a 65-yard touchdown run.

While the Morris Catholic tackling effort wasn't great (so many arm tackles!), that shouldn't take away from Phillips' effort. He simply would not be stopped.
