Miami and LSU players got into pregame scuffle

The college football season doesn't officially start until you have teams screaming at each other for no apparent reason.

About an hour ahead of Sunday's game between Miami and LSU at AT&T Stadium, ESPN cameras caught glimpse of an altercation between members of both teams. It was unclear what sparked the incident, but it didn't appear to escalate beyond shouting (and one player flipping double birds).

Coaching staffs and trainers from both teams converged on the scrum to separate the players. Someone blew a whistle because that apparently works in those types of situations too.

At the very least, we'll have to see if tempers carry over from that pregame scene.
