LeBron, Kobe applaud Sue Bird's WNBA semifinals heroics

Sue Bird, who was playing for a spot in the WNBA Finals with a broken nose (her fifth), came into the fourth quarter with her team down by four and less than seven minutes left in the game.

The Seattle veteran guard then scored 14 points on 5 for 6 shooting to punch her team's ticket to face the Washington Mystics in the Finals, which begin on Friday.

The basketball world was impressed, to say the least. With the win, Bird also defeated former UConn teammate and longtime friend Diana Taurasi.
