LeBron James and Ben Simmons teamed up in game

Last year, LeBron James took part in the most stacked pickup basketball game we've ever seen. It was a game that included Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony at a New York Life Time Athletic.

On Thursday, LeBron returned to the same gym and took part in another game loaded with NBA players. Ben Simmons was on his team.

While LeBron elected to sign with the Lakers over the 76ers, this morning run gave us a glimpse at what could've been for the Sixers. The two NBA stars made for one scary duo - as we would have expected.

Imagine that: We could've had Simmons throwing lobs to LeBron in actual NBA games. Instead, we'll be stuck with LeBron carrying the Lakers in a stacked West.

But hey, it was nice to see that Enes Kanter and LeBron could get along on the same court for a change.
