The Patriots defense called out the Lions' play

Just two weeks ago, Jets linebacker Darron Lee claimed that the Jets knew all of the Lions' calls before it happened. And it certainly looked that way as the Jets dominated the Lions, 48-17.

Well, the Patriots also knew the Lions' pre-snap calls.

During Sunday night's game between New England and Detroit, Matthew Stafford was making his pre-snap calls at the line of scrimmage when we audibly heard "that's a toss" come from the Patriots defense. The Patriots were right.

The Lions proceeded to do a toss to LeGarrette Blount, and the play went nowhere.

Does that mean the Patriots did something shady to steal the call? Not necessarily.

But man, the Lions need to change something because this is at least the second team to know what plays are coming ahead of time.
