Markelle Fultz made first in-game 3 with Sixers

It's been a long and uncertain road back for Markelle Fultz. Last year's No. 1 overall pick suffered a weird shoulder injury, forgot how to shoot a basketball and spent the subsequent year trying to re-learn how to shoot a basketball.

In his limited time with the Sixers last year, Fultz did not attempt a shot from 3-point range. He didn't attempt a 3-pointer in the Sixers' preseason opener against Melbourne United. On Monday, Fultz finally took a 3 in a real-life game of NBA (preseason) basketball.

And, oh man, it was glorious.

That wasn't CGI. Fultz indeed took a wide-open 3 against the Orlando Magic and made that 3.

Normally, it shouldn't be a big deal that an NBA guard hit an open 3, but this was a serious milestone moment for Fultz. He'd miss a separate attempt in the first half, but that still left him at a blistering 50 percent from 3-point range.
