UFC fighters react to Khabib-McGregor chaos

Khabib Nurmagomedov was brilliant in the biggest fight of his career, but an ugly melee between each fighter's camp after the fight sullied what was an otherwise fantastic event.

Nurmagomedov controlled all four rounds, damaged McGregor with his strikes and eventually forced McGregor to tap in the fourth round with a rear naked choke.

Absolute chaos broke out just seconds after the fight ended. Nurmagomedov jumped out of the cage immediately after the fight ended and attacked McGregor's camp, including teammate Dillion Danis, while others jumped in the cage and attacked McGregor in an ugly scene. UFC's Dana White refused to give Nurmagomedov his lightweight championship belt in the octagon, telling the champion that he was worried it could cause the pro-McGregor crowd to revolt.
