Kirk Cousins' pregame speech will give you goosebumps


Kirk Cousins is a fiery player who likes to wear his emotions on his sleeve and pump up those around him in the process.

And his latest pregame, on-field speech to his teammates before Sunday's game against the Cardinals is more proof of that.

Cue the goosebumps:

This little bit of advice for his defense, who was facing Arizona's rookie QB Josh Rosen, was pretty intense/awesome: "I'VE BEEN A ROOKIE QUARTERBACK BEFORE!! YOU CAN SUFFOCATE HIM!! YOU CAN SUFFOCATE HIM!! MAKE HIM MISERABLE!!"

The speech seemed to work as the Vikings opened up a double-digit lead in the third quarter, thanks to a seven-yard TD run by… Kirk Cousins.

We're guessing that Vikings fans liked that. Cousins sure did:
