NFL: Eric Reid takes shot at 'sellout' Malcolm Jenkins

Dating back to last year, Eric Reid had been critical of Malcolm Jenkins' cooperation with the NFL in the Players Coalition, calling the committee an NFL-funded "subversion group."

That feud escalated on Sunday when the Panthers took on the Eagles. Before the game, both Reid and Jenkins had to be separated from a dust-up near midfield.

There was speculation that the incident had something to do with Reid's comments, and the Panthers safety was asked about the scene after the game. Though a clearly frustrated Reid kept most of his answers short, he did fit in a few shots at Jenkins.

He said when asked if it had anything to do with the Players Coalition:

"He's a sellout."

Towards the end of the media availability, he continued:

"It's systemic oppression, which is what I'm protesting. And neocolonialism, man. It keeps happening."

He said of Jenkins:

"I would say he's a neocolonialist."

Jenkins opted to not engage in a back-and-forth with Reid when given a chance to respond.

The Panthers won, 21-17.
