Relive Manny Machado's bleep-filled rant on Red Sox

Manny Machado, who spent the first six and half years of his career with the Orioles, makes his return to Fenway Park on Tuesday as the Dodgers face the Red Sox in Game 1 of the World Series.

He'll face a team, and a pitcher in Boston ace Chris Sale, who he had some really bad blood with last year, bad blood that included and epic postgame rant ( Sports Illustrated counted 22 curses) after Sale tried to hit him with a pitch that ended up going behind Machado's legs.

Let's watch that bleep-filled rant, shall we:

Some of the things he said:

That's coward stuff. That's stuff you don't (bleeping) do.

To get thrown at at my (bleeping) head, to get thrown at (bleeping) everywhere - I've lost my respect for that organization, that coaching staff (it's a new coaching staff now), and everyone over there.

If you're going to (expletive) hit me, go ahead, (expletive) hit me. You know, don't let (expletive) keep lingering around and (expletive) around. Keep (expletive) trying to hit people. That's (expletive) bull.

MLB should do something about it. (Expletive) pitchers go out there with their (expletive) balls in their hand and throwing 100 mph trying to hit people. I got a (expletive) bat too. I can go up there and crush somebody if I wanted to, but you know what, I'll get suspended for the year and the pitcher will only get suspended for two games.

This whole thing stemmed from the Red Sox being upset about how Machado clipped Dustin Pedroia in the knee while sliding into second base (the Brewers and their fans now know exactly how Boston was feeling). Pedroia was injured on the play and is still dealing with a knee issue.

The Red Sox then threw at Machado in the next two games they played against the Orioles, only to miss him both times. He then hit a home run at Fenway and took his time around the bases, which prompted Sale to later throw a fastball behind Machado's legs and get tossed from the game.

Sale didn't have too much to say about the incident when asked about it Monday, telling reporters:

"We have bigger things to worry about now on both sides, on their side and on our side. We're dedicated to winning this World Series and bringing a championship to our city. We're not worried about any individual player. We've got one thing in mind and that's winning."

Machado played the villain role against the Brewers in the NLCS and you gotta think Red Sox fans will let him hear it starting Tuesday night.
