NBC explains why Maple Leafs fan's head blocked the action in playoff game against Bruins
The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs played an absolute frantic playoff game in Game 6 on Sunday, a game that the Bruins won 4-2.
It was a one-goal game for most of the third period, with both teams making rushes and having chances to find the back of the net.
The Bruins finally scored an empty-netter in the final minutes to get the two-goal win.
But during that wild third period fans watching at home were so annoyed with NBC and a fan's head, which often got in the way of the main camera angle.
NBC explained the glitch to The Boston Globe:
“Technical difficulties prevented us from using the main game camera for a period of time towards the end of the game,’’ the spokesman said. “The replacement camera had a slightly different perspective.”
Yeah, the replacement camera did have a different perspective and it wasn’t a good one.
Viewers were not happy.
Game 7 will be in Boston Tuesday night.
