The NBA on TNT crew was back on the air Thursday night, but there were no new games to broadcast and there was one big person missing from the show: Charles Barkley.
The NBA legend called into the show and explained that he has not been feeling well since a trip to New York City. He said he is currently awaiting the results of a coronavirus test that he took Thursday afternoon.
Barkley said he is under self-quarantine for 48 hours and has another day to go in the process.
Host Ernie Johnson got emotional talking to his friend and coworker during what has been a scary time for many people right now.
Barkley was also able to ask Dr. Sanjay Gupta some questions about the current coronavirus pandemic. Here's hoping Barkley will be OK.
