The Duke’s Mayo Bowl had almost the whole nation enraptured as college football fans waited out the game for the highly anticipated mayo bath for the winning coach. But if you thought it was going to be a normal game in any sense of the word, you were way off.
It was been a interesting product on the field, but viewers were delighted and horrified as ESPN commentators Mike Golic Jr. and Anish Shroff dipped “creme-filled cookies” into jars of mayo for a quick snack.
Golic Jr., the clear instigator for the event, called the hellacious combo a “really interesting blend of flavors” before giving it a thumbs up. Shroff, immediately looked full of regret (and mayonnaise).
The internet of course, had thoughts.
