Nazem Kadri wears a ‘too many men’ shirt to the Colorado Avalanche’s Stanley Cup parade

Nazem Kadri is a Stanley Cup champion and he wants the world to know it.

The dust has settled on the Colorado Avalanche's Stanley Cup victory, but the celebrations are just beginning. Thursday marked the Avalanche's Stanley Cup parade through the streets of Denver, where the team celebrated its thrilling victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning with its fans. And what a parade it was!

During the parade, Avalanche fans noticed Kadri, his family and some other players wearing some unique shirts to the event. It featured a picture of the Avalanche celebrating above the text "too many men", in reference to the overtime goal Kadri scored in Game 4 that was called into question by Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper.

What an excellent level troll that is. Of course, the goal Kadri scored did count, but when you're at the top, why not poke a bit of fun?

What a Stanley Cup Final for Kadri, too. From scoring that important Game 4 overtime winner to telling off his haters after winning the Stanley Cup, Kadri is on top of the world and it shows.

Last year, after the Avalanche's difficult loss in the second round to the Vegas Golden Knights, MacKinnon pointed that he had not won anything in his first eight season in the league.

Thursday, he said, "My ninth year, I finally won something, I guess." 

Mistaken identity for Bowen Byram

An officer apparently mistook the defenseman for a fan and tried to get him back into the crowd. Fans shouted, "He's a player," and Byram was allowed to rejoin his teammates.
