Nebraska is so embarrassing even Big Sky threw shade at Cornhuskers after loss to Northwestern
Man. Poor, poor Nebraska. Every year they have moderately big expectations and, without fail, every year they just come up short. Like clockwork.
Their season is off to a horrific start after losing 31-28 to Northwestern. They did it in front of a bunch of, uh, well-inebriated fans in Ireland, too. Today just didn’t seem to be their day.
It’s not like they didn’t have it in hand, either. They had an 11-point lead but, for some reason, chose to onside kick the ball. They failed and gave Northwestern an easy score.
Even after that, they had the ball back with a chance to win late. What happens? Interception. It’s like they’re just cursed, man.

It’s bad. Really bad. Everybody is roasting them now. That includes the Big Sky Conference Twitter account, which took an absolutely brilliant cheap shot at the school after someone said they’d be switching conferences soon.
The Big Sky was like “not so fast.”
