For Philadelphia Eagles fans, the pain of knowing the team could've taken Justin Jefferson in the 2020 NFL draft instead of Jalen Reagor will always be there.
Especially now that we know they were considering it, but they'd just expected more out of Reagor as a player. And, look — Reagor is fine. But Jefferson? He's special.
As an Eagles fan myself, I'm unsure if I'll ever get over this. I almost certainly won't in the short term. Especially not now.
Why? Because the two are teammates.
The Minnesota Vikings traded a 2023 seventh-round pick and a conditional 2024 fourth-round pick for the Reagor.
That makes Reagor and Jefferson teammates. All I can feel is pain. And if just knowing that wasn't enough, the video of the Vikings being absolutely stunned the Eagles took Reagor instead of Jefferson has now resurfaced. Again.
