Fantasy football waiver wire Week 6: Go get Kenneth Walker III, Taysom Hill right now

Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season is over. And what a week of football it was!
If you play fantasy football, you're already planning ahead with waivers after a busy week of games.
That's what we're here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 6.
Some of the names below might be taken already — but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let's run through them, in no particular order, and it's updated after the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs game on Monday Night Football.
WEEK 6 NFL POWER RANKINGS: A second NFC team joins No. 1 Philadelphia Eagles in Top 5
1. Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks
It looks like Rashaad Penny might miss the rest of the season with a broken leg, so the second-round rookie will step in. And there’s a ton of value here.
2. Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona Cardinals
If James Connor and Darrel Williams miss time, we might get to see him as the Cards’ top back, which is exciting for everyone who’s wanted that for a long time.
3. Taysom Hill, TE, New Orleans Saints
OK, look: You’re either going to get a goose egg, or you’re going to get FOUR TOUCHDOWNS (!!!!!). The tight-end landscape is a rough one, to say the least. So maybe grab him and hope for the latter.
4. Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts
Maybe he’s the WR2 Matt Ryan has looked for? He saw nine targets Thursday and turned them into eight catches for 81 yards. That came a week after the 80-yard day he had against the Titans.
5. Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants
He hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass in three games, but he’s a rushing threat in a position to succeed. As bye weeks start, you could stash him and see if he can keep it up (and start throwing some TDs).
6. Jakobi Meyers, WR, New England Patriots
Doesn’t matter who the QB is. It looks like he’s the WR1 in New England after he had 111 yards and a score against the Lions.
7. Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants
Remember when he was a thing? And remember how he wasn’t to start the season? And how the Giants need a receiver to do literally anything? Well, he did. And so maybe that means he’ll be in the game plan more going forward.
8. Joshua Kelley, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
The role of Austin Ekeler’s backup isn’t always important … until it is. And with 10 carries and a score against the Browns, you’ll want to put him on your roster.
