Arkansas women's golf team wins tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — The University of Arkansas' women's golf team has won its' opening tournament of the 2014-15 season.

UA won the Powerade Cougar Classic in Charleston, South Carolina, on Tuesday with a total of 15-under, 845 team score.

Arkansas' Regina Plasencia led the Razorbacks with an 8-under, 208 that tied for fifth-best individual score.
