2018 U.S. Open: Tee times for final round Sunday
Only one thing is certain about the final round of the U.S. Open on Sunday: it will be unpredictable.
That's thanks in part to a third round that saw course conditions deteriorate in the afternoon at Shinnecock Hills.
“We admit that some well executed shots were not rewarded," U.S. Golf Association chief executive Mike Davis said Saturday.
What the USGA does in response overnight will be the question on everyone's mind entering Sunday.
On the course, four men are tied for first: Daniel Berger, Tony Finau, Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson.
Berger and Finau took advantage of the much fairer early conditions Saturday to each card a 4-under-par 66. World No. 1 Johnson had entered Saturday 4 under and four clear of the field, then carded a 7-over-par 77.
