Tiger Woods was on the prowl on Thursday at Augusta National.

The 14-time major champion and four-time winner of the green jacket shot a 2-under 70 in the opening round of the 2019 Masters.

Woods made birdie on the par-5 second hole, then rolled in a pair of pars before dropping a stroke on No. 5. He safely made four more pars thanks to a couple short misses until making birdie on No. 9 to make the turn at 1-under.

After a trio of pars on the back nine's opening holes, Woods made consecutive birdies on Nos. 13 and 14 to claim, at the time, a share of the lead with Justin Harding and Jon Rahm, who was playing with Woods and Haotong Li.

Woods made par on 15 and 16 before dropping a stroke on No. 17. A par on the final hole closed out his round and Woods walked off the course at T-5.
