Tiger Woods 'sore' but 5 shots back after first round of Genesis Invitational
Tiger Woods said he was feeling 'sore' but is only 5 shots off the pace after the first round of the Genesis Invitational.

Tiger Woods is back.
He opened the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club with a 2-under 69.
And after outdriving Justin Thomas on the ninth hole Thursday – something he did to Thomas and Rory McIlroy all day long on day one in LA – Woods slipped something into Thomas' hands.
What was it?
A tampon.

After the round, McIlroy didn't sound too pleased with Woods outdriving him throughout the afternoon.
"I'm going to go work on the range. I put my driver up a click in loft at the start of the week, I might have to turn it back down again," he said. "I don't like him hitting it by me."
Some found Tiger's action amusing.
But not everyone shared the same opinion.
