2025 Open Championship tee times, groupings for Round 2 at Royal Portrush

The 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush rolls on with second-round action Friday at golf's final major of 2025. The world's best golfers from the PGA Tour, LIV Golf and the DP World Tour will be out on the course bright and early, with Rory McIlroy the crowd favorite back home in Northern Ireland.

Scottie Scheffler began the 2025 British Open as the betting favorite and fellow American Xander Schauffele is the defending champion. After Friday's second round, the 156-golfer field will be cut to just the top 70 and ties on the leaderboard through 36 holes of the tournament.
