The 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush, the last men's major of the year, heads into the final round with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in the lead ahead of round 4 on Sunday.

Scheffler extended his lead to four shots ahead of second-place Haotang Li after a remarkable performance in the third round. Hometown favorite Rory McIlroy made a significant jump up the leaderboard, beginning his third round at 3-under par. He ended the day at 8-under par, tying for fifth place.
