Sandra Gal diary: The law of resonance

Editor's note: This season LPGA golfer Sandra Gal will be writing a weekly diary for Paste BN Sports to share her adventures on the Tour.

Have you heard of the law of resonance? It basically means that the same vibrational frequencies and energies attract each other – it could be people, places, moods, conversations and sometimes even golf balls.

As we travel around the world there are certain spots that resonate really well with me – and the Bahamas are high on that list. There is something about the turquoise, see-through, drinkable-looking water that doesn't just feel inviting, but that resonates on a deeper level and gives me a sense of freedom, vastness and perspective on the things that really matter in life.

There are plenty of tour stops, where hotel – golf course – hotel are the norm, but this week, we are all on a "workation" (work/vacation). Sure, we'll work out, warm-up, play hard, practice and stretch, but we also take time to admire the sunset on the beach, take a cruise down the lazy river, snorkle and watch the Green Sea turtles get fed. And if they happen to have my favorite wine – that will also resonate really well!

There is a saying that men pro golfers are happy when they play well – but girl pro golfers play well when they are happy. So you should expect lots of low scores this week if the wind doesn't get crazy!
